I would recommend this as a first book on Fusion 360 modeling. Training wheels make it less painful (road rash). Just like riding a bicycle it looks easy until you try it.

I learned more in an hour from this book than was learned in a week with other "Whoopydo" books that described processes but made no reference to which menu or button was used. A fairly usable index to get you to what you need. Worked examples with menu and button steps and the follow on refinement of sketches. A Beginners Guide To 3d Modeling: A Guide to Autodesk Fusion 360 by Cameron Cow. Practice with the tools was needed to make it work naturally. Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for Fusion 360 for Makers, 2e: Design Your Own Digital Models for 3D Printing and CN at the best online prices at eBay Free delivery for many products. I was frustrated as a user of graphics and illustrator software by the rough sketch and redo process for fusion.

The menus are not intuitive or self explainitory. Fusion is a very powerful tool with lots of options. This book is a real "take hand A" exercise. Most of the other books I have used either babble on about trivia, or ignore detail. I found this book to be very helpful for a Fusion newbie.
